Malta Crown students attended a piano concert at the Mediterranean conference centre, which took place within the walls of an ancient building built by the Knights of Malta in the XVI century.

The history of the Hospitaller Order (after arriving in Malta, they became known as the Order of the Knights of Malta) is closely linked to the history of medicine and healing. It is no coincidence that one of the most important and largest buildings in Valletta was the "Sacred Hospital" of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem. One of the largest European conference centers, the Mediterranean conference center, is now located in this building.

The sheer size and scale of the building, combined with its transformation into a modern convention center in 1979, make the MCC such an impressive architectural structure. The careful and innovative restoration has received international recognition and the prestigious Europa Nostra Award for successfully combining beautiful ancient architecture with modern technology.
