This weekend, students from Malta Crown attended an open esports team competition as spectators.

The initiative came from the students themselves, and the school supported them by organizing a trip to the competition accompanied by educators.

In today’s world, it is impossible to ignore the phenomenon of esports — it has evolved into a full-fledged industry with million-dollar investments and has become a serious field of activity with prospects for professional growth.

Rather than opposing this phenomenon, our school has decided to channel its potential in a constructive direction.
Here are the reasons why we support esports enthusiasm:

Participating in cyber games teaches children strategic thinking, teamwork, and quick decision-making. Moreover, it is an excellent way for kids (including those with different physical abilities) to find friends around the world and communicate.

The principle of balance and control: studies first, then games!

Nowadays, many useful and intelligent games aimed at creation have been developed. The school’s task is to ensure that children make conscious choices when selecting games.

To be able to play computer games after school, students must first comply with school rules. This way, children learn responsibility and how to find harmony between their hobbies and academic activities.
