On April 30th, our students witnessed the spectacular closing ceremony of the International Fireworks Festival!
Did you know that the tradition of fireworks displays in Malta dates back to the reign of the Knights Hospitaller?
Back then, fireworks were a special way to express joy on important occasions. This tradition quickly spread to local communities. Village and town communities began organizing fireworks displays in honor of their patron saints. This centuries-old tradition is still alive today, and now the fireworks festival in Malta has become an international event.
The festival closing featured stunning fireworks that harmoniously blended with musical compositions. A special touch was added by modern drone shows, which are becoming increasingly popular every year. Thanks to advanced technologies, amazing pictures filled with deep symbolism were born in the night sky. School life at Malta Crown is not just about studying — it’s an opportunity to immerse oneself in the spirit and culture of Malta.
