Malta Crown Elementary School students attended an interactive tour, the Benna Experience project, an exciting journey that showed children where milk comes from and how it turns into dairy products that we buy every day.
The children found out:
How a cow is milked twice a day, and why it is important that the milk be processed immediately.
How milk is pasteurized, packaged and delivered is not just "from shelf to store", but a serious technological process, and the quality and safety of the product depends on it.
Why it is important to respect the work of farmers, take care of animals and nature, and understand that every pack of milk is the work of many people.
Such knowledge fosters not only gratitude and respect for the work of farmers, but also environmental awareness — valuable skills for future adulthood.
